This painting is very personal to me as it is my father playing his accordion. My father had a great love of music and a great ear for music, I can remember him standing in front of the fire, accordion strapped around his shoulders messing about with notes trying to reproduce a tune or a piece of music he had heard, then within a short time he would be billowing out the tune, this painting captures these lovely memories.
